Shipping & Returns


Please allow 2-3 Business Days (Wed-Sat) to process your order. Orders will ship out in a timely manner, but there can be delays depending on arrivals, etc. We ship on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays.  


Customer is responsible for shipping charges. Shipping fees will be calculated by zip code and weight at checkout. We ship packages via first class mail, with a Priority Shipping upgrade option. 

Free shipping on all orders of $100 or more, ship via First Class Mail OR Priority, when the latter option is within +/- $1.

You are responsible to make sure that you are providing us a secure shipping location. We are not responsible for stolen packages.

You are responsible for entering the correct delivery address for your package. Any returned packages will be subject to returned shipping fees.

Domestic (within the US)

All orders are processed within 1-4 days. (Please read item descriptions, as items that are 3-5 days are noted at the bottom of the item information) Orders can take take 3-7 business days from shipment date to be delivered, and sometimes more depending on the carrier. Once the item is in shipment, You will receive a tracking number. Once the order has been delivered to the carrier of choice, we are unable to give info beyond the tracking info we provide to you and suggest that you contact the carrier with any transport questions you may have. 

Please make sure the address we are shipping to is a secure address. If packages are stolen we cannot be held responsible. All items will have a tracking number. There are often times that the USPS does not offer full tracking but they always scan when delivered. In these moments, please contact the USPS with your tracking number, as we cannot track beyond what you can online.

  • All returns require an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number prior to returning to us. Buyer must contact us within 3 days of order receipt for an RMA. Please include your package slip with the return


  • Sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged


  • All returns must have an RMA number issued prior to returning to us. Buyer must contact us within 3 days or receipt for an RMA. Please include your package slip with the return


  • We must receive your return within 15 days of your order date to be eligible for a refund. International orders are allowed 30 days


  • Returns must be scent free, unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached.


  • Shipping charges are not refundable. Customer is responsible for shipping returns at their expense


  • Once an RMA is issued, items must be shipped back to: 241 S 1st St., Saint Helens, OR 97051, Attn: RMA Dept + your RMA number written clearly


RMA Issuance and full policy information:


All online returns must receive an approved RMA prior to returning. Customer MUST contact us within 3 days of receiving item. An RMA will NOT be issued thereafter.

  • If an item does not fit, contact us for an RMA.
  • If it is damaged in shipment, contact us immediately with an RMA.


All items ARE checked for quality assurance purposes prior to shipment to ensure that there are no damages, or defects. Items found to have defects will not leave our warehouse. Photos are taken upon shipment for insurance purposes as well as for our records to ensure that no damaged item leaves our facility.


If a customer contacts us for an RMA, the customer is responsible for shipping charges back to Woodland Cottage Handpicked. Itsm MUST be sent back in a timely manner and will be rejected if sent back 14 days after the RMA is issued.


For a refund to be approved and issued, we will inspect the garment upon receipt. The garment must have the following characteristics:

  • Free of scent (perfume, FEBREEZE, smoke, food, pets, etc)
  • Free of animal, human hair or any other particles
  • Free of any damages/changes from leaving the warehouse
  • Must be unwashed and unworn
  • Tags still in tact (original and WCH tags)


We do not offer return labels at this time.


If you are local to the Portland metro/Columbia County, you can return to the shop during hours of operation within 15 days of purchase, but an RMA is still required so we have you on file for the sales attendant on staff.



If you wish to exchange your item for another size, you must return your unwanted item back to us with the same RMA procedure . After we receive, inspect and approve your item, we will issue a store credit via E-Gift card. You may then place an order for the desired size using your store credit. Exchanges are also required to follow all of the above.


Defective Items:

In the event that an item IS defective (sewn wrong, missing something, etc.) ALL defective merchandise must be reported within 3 days of receiving. Merchandise that has been worn or washed cannot be accepted for store credit. We will ask that you send photos of the defective item to so we can further inspect and send a replacement if applicable.
